Unhappy with Reversing the doors

Nicknames are too hard 2/3/2023

The refrigerator looks good and seems to cool okay but due to the placement it was necessary to reverse the doors. The quality of construction was lacking for this to happy. First it says to swap the levelers which sounds easy enough but the hole in the case to receive the leveler on the RH side was filled with hard foam insulation. The instructions were no help nor was spending 45 minutes with the technical assistance. I ended up having to lift the front up several inches and using small drill bits turning by hand until I cleared the threaded receiver enough to accept the leveler Second the same situation on the bottom of the doors existed. Moving the closures to the other side I found the holes to screw the brackets into place were never machines out from the molded plastic. I had to drill three holes out to mount the closure brackets on the bottom of both doors. Clearly a lack of quality in doing the construction completely.

Disapointment follow by Great Joy

Bought this refrigerator about 2 weeks ago plug it in and with in 12 hours the unit failed. Contacted the warranty department and within a few minutes the process started and with in a couple days we received updates and a promise of repair. The Technician Timothy Wilbanks arrived on time diagnosed the issue and with in 90 minutes had the unit up and running. This was a spare unit so time was not an issue. Timothy was very pleasant and knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do.

I bought this about a month ago to have an extra fridge/freezer in our basement. We wanted to be able to stock up on things when things go on sale and also have a backup in case our main fridge ever has issues. This is a very aesthetically pleasing unit and has a good bit of space. The controls are simple and the unit does its job. It seems to be a good bit nicer than anything else in a comparable price range.

It started off being a great refrigerator but at the end of 7 months I had problems with the refrigerator not cooling. Took a while for LG to set up service and it took more time for the service technician to come to my place for repair. Fortunately my year was not up so the repairs was free. Will be contacting LG for compensation for food spoilage.

We bought this online right before Thanksgiving. Seems like an excellent refrigerator. More deep than wide. Shelves fit gallon containers. Cools really well. But no light in the freezer like my old one. LED lights in fridge that I dont know how you change if you have to. OVERALL so far only had it three weeks working really good.

Compressor Needs Replacement for a THIRD time

I will never purchase another LG appliance for any of my rental units ever again and will be sure to share this information with all of my peers in the real estate profession on how horribly manufactured LG refrigerators are not to mention their customer service. Water started condensing around the freezer compartment within a few days. 3 repair visits later the leakage is now in the main compartment... Trying to get a refund/replacement which is a long and hard journey... sorely disappointed at level of customer service and product quality. Truly shameful.

Terrible customer service

Purchased refrigerator in late August at Home Depot. Delivery fiasco. It took 6 delivery attempts to get refrigerator. As of this review I still dont have undamaged refrigerator. I just gave up and will live with damaged refrigerator. Never experienced such incompetence by any organization ever. When they finally sent repairman the part was the wrong part.

I bought this refrigerator for our church cafe and we are loving it Our previous one was too small so we upgraded. The huge door slots for gallon jugs have come in so handy for all of our drink products. The abundant room on the shelves is plenty of space for our cafe items. Would highly recommend to everyone. We received a lemon

This refrigerator went into use September 1. By the middle of September all of the frozen food was discarded because even at its highest setting everything in the freezer thawed out. Sadly there are no LG repair services available in our area. Here it is almost mid-November and we still have no refrigerator to use because of the hoops one must go through to get a refund/service for LG. This has been a horrible as well as expensive experience.

I love my LG refrigerator

My LG fridge is a year old now and I love it as much today as the day it arrived. Mine is stainless steel and very pretty. There is a lot room in the freezer and fridge and the motor is very quiet. LG products have never let me down.

All my food gets frozen in the back of my fridge

Ive had this fridge for almost 2 years now and noticed that since the beginning my food gets frozen if its anywhere near the back half of the refrigerator. Also I noticed that the stainless steel scratches so easily. Pretty upsetting. I wish it was better quality.

Happy with new fridge

I have had my new LG refrigerator for about a month and a half. I was very pleased with the purchase delivery and most significantly the refrigerator is so very quiet in my condo kitchen. Though it has been a relatively short time I am pleased with how the LG does its job. And another significant issue for me as I had a looked at other brands LG is energy star which ultimately made the sale.

Great Refrigerator with One Personal Dislike

I really love my new refrigerator It completely does the job. The stainless is great easy to clean and the veggie bins are really large which is important to me because I dont cook meat at all. Shelves are easy to clean. It keeps good temperature and Im really happy with it. My only complaint is that it doesnt have handles. Over time Im sure Ill get used to sticking my fingers in the space provided without getting fingerprints everywhere but for now its an annoyance. On the plus side the fingerprints wipe off cleanly with a hot rag which isnt always the case with stainless steel.

A good practical fridge

I bought this model fridge because it was one of the few available that fit in the space where my previous fridge was in my 1905 home. I also wanted one that would be energy-efficient and this one is Energy Star rated. After being told by local dealers that it might take weeks for them to get one of these in stock I found that I could order one online directly from LG and it could be delivered in less than one week delivery included. In online reviews not everyone who chose this option was happy with their choice usually because of problems with their local installers but everything went well with the delivery and installation. The fridge runs very quietly and doesnt need to cycle on very often. This is a basic model e.g. without a drawer for deli items and no lights in the freezer section but it looks good and runs well so Im very happy with my purchase.
