Meets all of our needs

We bought this as part of our full-gut kitchen remodel. We had originally decided on another brand but the manager at the appliance store recommended this one. He was right. We wanted a top refrigerator/bottom freezer unit. I did not want any outside dispensers. This one fits our cabinet depth and doesnt stick out like our old one did. In addition it has a filtered water dispenser inside the left side of the upper unit. The ice maker dispenses into the top freezer drawer. The whole unit is very quiet. We really like the divided bottom drawer and the towel rack handles. It is very attractive in our new kitchen. It was a good choice for us.

Ive had this for about a month- love the top cooling area had some adjustment going from dual door - but so far meeting my needs. As for the freezer a different story/ beware the double drawers do not seem to hold much and are hard to arrange. I do love the water dispenser. Keeping up with ice need of my family. I have had trouble already with freezer frost- and had trouble with customer service line this week.

I am delighted with my LF French door refrigerator. It has the same number of cu ft as my previous side-by-side counter depth refrigerator but it seems much more spacious. Theres so much room on the doors for milk juice condiments canned sodaetc which frees up space in the interior of the refrigerator. I really like the two freezer doors- convenient to open the top drawer for ice and access to everything in the bottom drawer is easy. I wanted a very clean look on the exterior so I chose not to have ice and water dispensers on the outside. Beautiful inside and out

I am so happy with my purchase of the LMWC23626S It is roomy bright inside and foods can be easily organized and viewed. I like that the shelves split and can be arranged at differing heights and the door pockets are deep and hold so much. We did have to move the pantry over about one inch to allow clearance but well worth the work involved. We do not have the waterline connected yet so cant speak to the ice maker functioning but I do like the 2 drawer freezer concept.

Good fridge some small issues.

Have had it almost a year now. The bottom freezer ices up if you dont make sure it is pushed tight. Some of the clips that help the door pull shut and hold shut broke off so the door opens sometimes.

Hard to clean

There is no way to turn off the refrigerator without pulling it out from the cabinet and as a female senior citizen living alone thats impossible. Therefore I must move like lightning to try and empty each shelf and remove each level before the incessant beeping drives mr crazy. Additional the bottom drawer does not fully come apart and it cant b3 cleaned fully.

I will never purchase another LG product. We have had repair people to work on ours several times since October and still not fixed. We bought a used refrigerator freezer and it is in our garage. 30 years old and that is what we are using. The LG freezer does not work period. The refrigerator cools to about 75 degrees. Absolutely pitiful.

Freezer Temperature not cold enough.

My refrigerator LMWC23626S is about 2.5 years old. I start having issues with the freezer and requested repair service. The LG repair man Keldon Myers came the next day and replaced a defective compressor. Within two hours the refrigerator was repaired and back to normal operating condition. Thankfully I had an extended warranty so it didnt cost me anything. Keldon was very pleasant and informative.

Let me tell you how functional and efficient this refrigerator is. You are immediately able to see everything in front of you. The lighting and arrangement of the shelves make it easy to get to everything. The freezer drawers at the bottom are again well laid out ice maker and top drawer for everyday access and bottom drawer for longer storage. This is my second LG refrigerator and they continue to provide an excellent appliance and service. You would not be disappointed if you were to purchase this product.

Why did I wait so long

We had our old refrigerator for 20 years. Decided to replace it with a counter depth model and did a lot of research. Purchased this one and love it. The crisper drawers for fruits and vegetables keeps them fresher longer and - unlike my old refrigerator - doesnt freeze them I really like the large full width drawer for bigger items ... or smaller items when I dont need it for big stuff. The whole refrigerator is well lit and I really like the fact that the cold air circulates by the doors to keep those items at a more consistent temperature. Would definitely recommend this to others

Issues in the first year

I bought this a year ago and the freezer has been having excess frost to the point that sometimes the freezer doors would not open. LG TEchnician had to come twice for repair. Technician has been great. Well see if the repair works over the next few weeks.

Less than 6 months old and already 2 service calls

We purchased this refrigerator towards the end of June 2022. We just had to have our second service call today. Apparently the seal was not on correctly and outside air was pouring into the freezer creating a winter wonderland. The second time a part in the back of the freezer and on either sides of the freezer there was other openings and again air was pouring into the freezer and freezing the icemaker which quit working. I am very unhappy with the situation and regret buying this refrigerator.

Quiet and easy to control

I have this refrigerator for one month. It is well designed and has a convenient interior water dispenser. It maintains temperature precisely. It is ver quiet. Ice cubes are properly created in the freezer. Adjustable shelves are very useful.

Beautiful appliance. The freezer never did work reliably. Intermittent thaw cycles and finicky ice maker. After two years of troubleshooting the whole fridge just stopped cooling altogether. Recommend purchase of the extended warranty. LG customer service team is stellar. I was refunded nearly the full purchase price and have selected another LG refrigerator-

Second time around

This is my second lg refrigerator the first was a great one at first I was bummed that a power surge took it out but now I em very pleased because this model we bought is a100 times neicer. It runs so quiet that I have to open the door just to make sure it is running. The space inside is set up much nicer than the old one. My wife is in love with the double door freezer. We love our new lg frig.

Repair man was GREAT

Jonathan was very nice and accommodating. He even put up with my animals bothering him while he worked. He had my fridge fixed in no time and was on his way. Unfortunately he left some kind tool behind on my cabinet. I have tried to let him know by text message and voice message but he hasnt replied yet. I will try the # on the texts I received from AE.

Good but....

Generally this is a good refrigerator. Bought it about 6 months ago in advance of a kitchen renovation and then installed it a month ago. Initially had a problem with terrible tasting water and ice despite running many many gallons through the system. It was undrinkable. Eventually we figured out that we had to replace the expensive braided stainless steel water line the installers had used with a cheap plastic one and now the water/ice is fine. But the biggest annoyance is that the right refrigerator door has to be shoved in order to close it. The literature touts its auto-closing feature saying that the doors and freezer drawers close automatically when pushed slightly...when open at an angle of less than 30 degrees. The right hand refrigerator door does not do that. In fact it actively resists closing unless you give it a good push. After three calls to support many attempts to level relevel and jack up the front of the unit as well as visit by a stumped repair person LG said that the right hand door is in fact not supposed to auto-close no matter what the literature claims. The least they could do is be up front about that instead of lying about it in their product description.

Worked great for a short period of time

I purchased a LG french door refrigerator 10 months ago and it stopped working . I live in the portland oregon metro area with a market area of about 2 and a half million people. I contacted LG and started the repair process.after almost 3 weeks and numerous phone callstext and emails LG finally said they have NO ONE that is willing to look at my refrigerator. Long story short they paid me the entire amount that I paid for the refrigerator. Needless to say I did not replace it with another LG

I love this LG refrigerator

I purchased this about a month ago for a counter-depth refrigerator the room inside is extraordinarily roomy. And I looked at many refrigerators before I purchased this one The side bins on the door hold so much that sometimes my frig looks empty. I love the 2 freezer doors I keep bread rolls and pastries on top and meats on the bottom- I like that the ice maker is in the freezer rather than on the door. The cubes are a nice size and shape I have a slight issue with the water dispenser inside the door the water has an odd taste we tried a new filter but that did not appear to change the taste and we ran several gallons of water through it. Overall great look very roomy frig I would recommend this frig

Has issues

NOT satisfied LG customer 11/15/2022

Even without connecting the ice maker the freezer has less room than my previous top freezer fridge. THEN after barely 8 months we came home to a warm fridge freezer with ALL our food spoiled It took one week before a tech could come then there was confusion if the part was supposed to be delivered or the tech was bringing it he did in the end. We are still waiting for the spoiled food reimbursement form --- this is not at all what we expected from LG

Poorly Constructed

Hope for a Refund 11/14/2022

We ordered it in November and received it in March. From the first day it has built frost on top of the lower freezer gasket. Since the delivery numerous attepts to resolve the issue has failed. We have been inconvenienced oover 8 times waiting for a repairman to come to our home only it has not helped at all I HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN THE LG PRODUCT LINE. I am hoping for a refund as I regret the day they brought it in the house.

Beautiful finish and wide doors

This is our first bottom-freezer counter-depth refrigerator. Top section is large and doors have very good capacity and can handle heavier items than we expected. Ice water inside the left side wall takes it off the front door-we like that option. Two freezer compartments are adequate for the two of us but might be a bit small for a growing family. Ice maker works well but bin is shallow-again fine for us as a retired couple. Super quiet easy controls. We are very happy with this purchase.

Worst Refrigerator I ever owned

I keep getting emails to write a review so I finally decided to tell them what I think of this unit now i am going to wait and see if I win the fake $500 prize. I would give it Minus 10 Stars if I could give it. This unit looks okay but in less than a year it has already falling apart in a home with no children whom open and close it all day long. The seal around the door tore off in about 6 months had to wait weeks for the part to arrive. Now the door on the left side does not close properly thus leaking air and constant headache with the beep. Again I have to wait for a customer service person to call me in order to schedule a repair. The ice maker is faulty design and the ice keeps falling out of the try into the box below if left on. Does not have any sensor as when to stop making more ice after the tray is full. You have to remember to turn the ice maker off half way in order to avoid having to remove ice from the bottom freezer unit and remember to turn it on again when you run out of ice. The water inside the refrigerator is never cold. The LG answer is to put ice in your water glass this unit does not have water reservoir or cooling coil to give you cold water as needed. Why bother to pay more for water dispenser if I am going to put ice in my glass to get a glass of cold water. There are many better options available. Unfortunately due to supply issues I had to go with what was available at that time since I had to replace my 15 year old unit.

Incredibly quiet

We have had this refrigerator for 3 weeks and are very pleased. It was so quiet when we turned it on we thought it was defective and not running. It has a built in activated charcoal filter to keep reduce odors. The literature indicates it is much more effective than baking soda.

I like the refrigerator. There was an accumulation of ice on the left door of the bottom freezer. It took a long time for the serviceman to come. Earlier you sent a gasket for the top freezer instead for the bottom one. I think he fixed it without the gasket. We left town after he came. When we come back in December I will know if everything is ok.

Pros: Quiet The only noise of note is the ice-maker. It sort of clicks occasionally and when it deposits into the ice tray you hear that. I love the sleek look especially because theres no water/ice dispenser in the door. French-door fridge is very nice since you can open one side and not expose the entire food compartment. Same with the 2 freezer drawers. It doesnt ring-tone warn me that the door is open after 5 seconds like my Moms LG. The non-door exterior is gray a nice nondescript color that blends into my kitchen. Cons: the water dispenser inside the fridge is weird cold air blows down on my feet as I fill my glass. Its taking me a bit to get used to freezer drawers but you could fit a whole turkey if you want One drawer is hard to open takes a serious pull with both hands while the right fridge door opens so easily sometimes I wonder if it was shut all the way. It is NOT printproof - I have to wipe mine down frequently. The glass shelves have limited configurations so you dont have a lot of options to put tall things like a half gallon of milk or bottled beer/soda. The door baskets are not adjustable at all they are where they are. I wish there was a smaller one right by the water dispenser theyre all able to accommodate a gallon.

Love it but it stopped working

For the year and a half it worked we had no complaints. Water inside the fridge was fine to keep the front of the fridge clean but a little uncomfortable when guests we invited to get their own water. Like the cube bin for quick access to ice. Hate the fact that it stopped working isnt cold enough to make ice and the fridge temp is also lower than its setting and that they are not able to get service for what looks like 3 weeks. Had to buy a new fridge because we can go that long without.

Great Storage

We bought this refrigerator to replace a 5 year old model from a competitor. We quickly learned that the design was not great The ice maker and electronics quit working pretty quickly. This LG model is much simpler. I love not having the door ice and water dispenser leaving much more storage room with very deep shelves on both doors. I also love having the two drawer freezer. Its so handy Very happy with this purchase - hope it lasts more than 5 years
