Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy, and expensive and you probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Very nice cooktop

Submitted by Chuck - 2/7/2017

We purchased this cooktop to replace our old radiant top. We were skeptical about going to an induction cooktop but couldn't be more pleased after using it for a few months. We had to resurrect our stainless steel magnetic pan set which we had given up on because of cleaning difficulty. This cooktop is very, very fast. The burner areas do not get hot enough to burn the skin. The stainless steel pans do not scorch the way they used to. We love the cooktop.

Think Twice

Submitted by JC - 9/19/2016

Was all set for a gas top and the salesman talks my wife into an induction cook top. Looked cool and worked good, for six months and now it is toast. The power module failed and they are back ordered for three to four weeks. Now we are cooking on a Coleman stove in a new kitchen remodel. You decide, is it worth it? For me, no. Big mistake that will not be repeated in future purchases.

Submitted by Cookie - 5/27/2016

I have had this for a few weeks and enjoy it very much. However it took three induction ready pots and pans purchases to find ones that don't buzz annoyingly. Only cast iron and enamel coated cast iron don't make noise. 7quart pot now boils water in 5 minutes.

I had to have my electrician come and rewire to my kitchen cooktop...and I am soooo glad I did. The induction cooktop is great. It heats up quickly, is always cool to the touch, no burned on foods. I cannot say enough. I am enjoying cooking again.

I LOVE Induction Cooking!

Submitted by RowdyDave - 5/14/2016

I installed this cooktop about a month ago. Induction cooking is as close to cooking with gas as I believe can be found in an electric cooktop. Mine is a total electric house, so gas is not an option. The heat is there when you need it, properly regulated when it's time for that. I love induction cooking! In various homes I've owned, I've tried every type of electric range and cooktop. All work, but none have met my expectations until I discovered induction. Did I mention I LOVE Induction Cooking?

I love induction cooking!

Submitted by Dave - 5/3/2016

Induction cooking is the closest thing to cooking with gas that I have found. It allows for nearly instant heating and removal of heat, just like gas, as well as instant heat adjustment. It has also reduced my power costs compared to my old electric cook top. I'll be sticking with induction! I've always stuck with Whirlpool.

Converted the cook

Submitted by Dennisinde - 3/6/2016

Got a great deal on this cook top. I've wanted an Induction for a long time. The cook in the house was skeptical, didn't like loosing her favorite pan. But we discovered we had more magnetic pans than we thought. Only had to purchase one replacement. After several weeks the cook is in love with the cook top, really likes the way foods cook in the pots and pans. Happy wife, Happy life. I'm happy.

We bought a complete Whirlpool Gold suite of appliances for our kitchen and could not be happier! We choose Whirlpool after an extensive search of products during the construction of our new home. We based it upon past experiences, reviews of other people and Whirlpools reputation for a quality product. We use the cooktop daily and it performs flawlessly every time. I would, and do, recommend Whirlpool for anyones next appliance purchase.

Boost Field DOA

Submitted by Rockitscientist - 10/7/2015

The single field with the boost was DOA! We had the Range version of this cooktop and it was WAY better, we loved it!! In the range version ALL fields have the boost function, the cook-top version only has 1 field with it. The other big field became cloudy from the inside after a loud bang, not sure if it is still safe to use. We are very disappointed with this one!

Poor, still needs replaced

Submitted by Lee D - 5/16/2015

I bought this 2 years ago and the first time I used boost it threw the breakers and never worked again. So, whirlpool replaced it. Itworked until I used the boost again 5 months later, it threw all the breakers in my home, and have never worked again. I've been 6 months without a cooktop. I WENT TO THE STORE THAT SOLD IT TO ME, THEY SAID CALL WHIRPOOL.

I LOVE Induction Cooking!

Submitted by rowdydave1 - 5/4/2015

I bought and installed my new Whirlpool induction cooktop April 1, 2015. I decided to start with a simple meal, cheeseburgers and fries. I unpacked and washed my new induction-ready cookware and got started. Being new to induction cooking, I fried the patties on 4 (too low in retrospect, which is a good thing), then put the peanut oil in the pan for the fries, set the cooktop at 9 with power boost. In about 30 seconds I dropped a small piece of potato in the oil and what do you know? It was already at frying temperature! In less than seven minutes I had crisp, golden French Fries! My caution with the patties caused them to take a bit longer, but the meal was great, and much time and energy was saved thanks to my new induction cooktop. I am a believer!

Works very well, hard to find pots/pans that work for all bu

Submitted by nortonjco - 10/27/2014

I like this cooktop; however, it is very hard to find pots/pans that work well with all burners. 60% of the pots/pans I have will only work with the smallest burners (bottom left/right) and are a lot bigger than those burners but too small to work with the other burners. The controls are very sensitive and placing items on top of the controls will cause problems. Takes a while to get used to.

Happy with our Whirlpool Gold 30" Electric Indiction Cooktop

Submitted by farmmom - 10/13/2014

We are overall pretty happy with our induction cooktop. We like the even heating and ability to control the temperature. Some issues with induction cookware working on front burners and not the back not sure if that is cooktop or cookware. Super easy to clean since nothing burns on cooking surface. Wish the finish wasnt so shiny. Shows every finger print. Controls in front is a nice feature but I have found its easy to lean over and turn them off by accident. Compared to the regular glass cooktop we replaced I would buy induction again.

Not working at low temperature

Submitted by Gideon Noppe - 9/9/2014

I bought the 60cm 6th sense induction hob and have difficulty starting it in the mornings in winter. I have taken this up with the South African branch who tells me there is nothing wrong with it. i do not understand why it refuses to work when it's cold, but works perfectly during the day and when the service team gets here. I have paid a lot of money for this hob and will take legal action if necessary. Surely this must have happened before or my specific unit are malfunctioning, in which case it should be replaced.

Good product, could be better

Submitted by Macbon - 1/2/2014

Slider power controls do not go beyond level 8 without several tries. Timer would be better if it would shut off, instead of just blinking, and beeping. Beep not loud enough or persistent enough to hear in other room. Functionality great otherwise. Would sincerely just like to see a good product made better!

Poor layout of burners, beeping alarm is annoying.

Submitted by Redder - 10/28/2013

It is unfortunate the large burners are in the back. When boiling a large pot, all the steam covers the micro hood, and lifting heavy pots from the back burners is awkward. While saut_ing food, lifting the pan to toss ingredients sets off the alarm to alert you to set the pan back down. I would like to be able to turn off the beeping noise.

VERY DESAPPOINTED

Submitted by Mocy19 - 5/23/2012

I purchased ($1,200.00) this cooktop 8 months ago and it was working perfectly, when suddenly the display began blinking and stopped to work. A technician came out, and couldn't fix it because he needs a thermalfuse, now we are waiting seven to ten working days on a part, eating fast food and cold food. We cannot believe that the repairman doesn?t carry a simple FUSE, that?s unbelievable. I love new technology, but this one is the worst.

Product is Unreliable

Submitted by blue1der - 4/10/2012

I purchased this cooktop a week ago. It has been majorly disappointing. After about three uses an error code, F47 popped up. A repairman came out, and couldn't fix it. We are now waiting on parts. Parts to fix a new stove!!!!!! We've been eating out, because, our brand new expensive stove DOES NOT WORK!! Avoid this appliance. The technology in theory is great, but in function it is a colossal failure. You WILL regret this purchase! Consider yourself warned!

Verify Satisfied

Submitted by Desand - 10/19/2011

When buying an induction cooktop, know what you??re getting yourself into. Special cookware is required. If a magnet will not stick to your current pots and pans, you must buy new ones. Once you have all the right gear, it??s well worth the cost. It cooks fast and evenly with lots of control over the temperature. You can have a boiling pot of water (which doesn??t take long) and the surrounding surface will be barely warm. For me, it??s the happy medium between a microwave and conventional cooktop.
